Welcome to the Portland Water District! As our customer, we want you to know both your responsibilities and rights when it comes to your water service.

You are responsible for things like paying your bill on time and caring for your water meter. At the same time, you have important rights, such as:

  • Receiving proper notice before disconnection if a bill isn’t paid.
  • The ability to file a complaint with the Public Utilities Commission if needed.
