The Portland Water District offers paid internships in engineering, water and wastewater operations, technology, and science. These are unique opportunities to gain valuable industry experience while working at Maine’s largest public water and wastewater utility.

Internship Details:
- Duration: 12 weeks (mid-May to mid-August)
- Schedule: Standard 40-hour work week with potential for overtime
- Credit Hours: PWD will assist successful candidates in gaining internship credit, if requested
- Ideal Candidates: Students in engineering or environmental programs
